An interview with actor, photographer, documentarian, and creative director John Ales by Sophie Mancini.
When John Ales was young he wanted to be a priest. Thankfully (for us and possibly the church) this path didn’t work out. In this wide ranging interview Ales talks about his successful third career choice–acting, and his different experiences within the film industry. Topics include his role as a regular character in Denis Leary’s much anticipated new series on FX titled Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, shooting photographic portraits of Hollywood stars, filming the AOL series Fatherhood with Hank Azaria, teaching at the Stan Winston School, and much more.
